Most storage only works if you are willing to look at it, which is why so many baskets end up hidden in a cupboard holding nothing. This set is designed to solve both halves of the problem: each basket is hand-woven from natural seagrass over a sturdy internal frame, so it holds its shape when full instead of sagging into a soft lump, and the honey-tan weave is attractive enough to sit on an open shelf, a bathroom vanity or the floor beside a sofa.
The three sizes are graduated to cover the jobs that actually come up. The large holds rolled towels, a throw, or a child's toy rotation. The medium is right for toilet rolls, hand towels, or the contents of a cluttered vanity drawer. The small corrals the things that otherwise scatter: hair ties, remote controls, spare charging cables, keys by the door. Because they nest inside one another when empty, the whole set stores in the footprint of the largest basket.
The rim is braided by hand and folded over the internal frame, giving a firm, rounded lip that is comfortable to carry and will not unravel. Cut side handles are worked into the weave on the two larger sizes, so you can lift a loaded basket with one hand. Seagrass is naturally water-resistant, which makes the set genuinely practical in a bathroom or laundry — it tolerates humidity far better than paper rope or unfinished rattan.
As with any natural material, expect variation: the weave may shift slightly in tone from basket to basket, and the fibre carries the occasional darker straw or small irregularity. Care instructions
Dust with a dry cloth or the soft brush of a vacuum. Wipe marks with a barely damp cloth and air dry immediately. Do not soak or submerge — prolonged saturation will weaken the fibre and can distort the internal frame. Keep out of constant direct sunlight to limit fading, and rotate occasionally if one basket always sits in the same bright spot.
