Materials & construction

Thrown and finished from high-fired stoneware clay with a lead-free, cadmium-free reactive glaze. Each piece is kiln-fired twice: once for the body, once for the glaze. Slight variations in glaze pooling, speckle density and rim tone are inherent to the process and are part of the design.
